Anna Hazare solely attempting to present advance notice to government: Kiran Bedi

NEW DELHI: As Anna Hazare announced his plans to campaign against the Congress if the Jan Lokpal bill wasn't passed in Parliament, activist Kiran Bedi these days said their movement was still apolitical and also the anti-corruption crusader was solely attempting to present an "advance notice" to the govt.

"The movement is aimed toward obtaining a law for a powerful Lokpal be glided by the govt within the Winter Session of Parliament as they need promised. Anna is putting them on notice," Bedi said.She said the movement still remained apolitical and what Hazare was attempting to try and do was to present an "advance notice" to government.

Her remarks came as Hazare announced that he can campaign against it in election-bound states if the Centre fails to induce his version of the anti-corruption bill passed in Parliament's Winter Session.

Another Team Anna member Justice Santosh Hegde said he was "sceptical" concerning the Lokpal Bill obtaining passed within the Winter session.

"I am undecided that it'll happen. If it happens, it'll be smart," he said.

Asked concerning BJP's letter of support for Jan Lokpal bill, he said he wasn't positive that any political party can totally support.
