Political corruption

Political corruption is the use of powers to legislate by government officials for illegitimate private gain. The misuse of government power for other purposes, like repression of political opponents and general police brutality is not considered political corruption. Neither are illegal acts by individuals or companies not directly involved with the government. An illegal act by an officeholder constitutes political corruption only if the act is directly related to their official duties.

Forms of corruption vary, but include bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, cronyism, bribery and embezzlement. While corruption may facilitate criminal activity such as drug trafficking, money laundering and human trafficking is not limited to these activities.

The activities that constitute illegal corruption differ depending on the country or jurisdiction. For example, certain political funding practices that are legal in one place may be illegal in another. In some cases, government officials have broad or poorly defined powers, which makes it difficult to distinguish between legal and illegal. Worldwide, bribery alone is estimated to involve over U.S. $ 1 trillion year. [1] The state of rampant political corruption is known as a kleptocracy, literally "rule by thieves."

Fighting Corruption can not ignore issue of communalism

A land mark in the fight against corruption was initiated by political struggle Vishwnath Pratap Singh in the Congress Party and later when he was expelled in the period 1985-1989. As finance minister, ordered that the allegations of corruption against prominent businessmen felt. Many of them had to go to jail. Soon, he was sent to Ministry of Defence of ignoring public opinion against this big. Government of that day was usual in these things. Rajeev was surrounded by the circle and healthier advises completely ignored. As he moved to the ministry of defense, it was found that there was a commission paid to treat shell HDW ordered from Germany. The report also Bofors came out and made it difficult for Congress to hide his face.

Yes, VPSingh was dismissed from the core members of the Party Congress in its fight against corruption. However, success was something that became a symbol of the fight against corruption in India in the eighties. Students, middle class jumped up and joined hands. Your personal image is kept clean at all times.
The upper caste middle classes were the first to go in his car when they realize that he is ready to overthrow the government. The Brahmins of Varanasi anointed him with 'Rajarshi' title and that developed great good of the people is, the upper castes. The Sangh Parivar jumped into the fray. The BJP, which has been a bad mood after the great defeat of 1984 that are in reality an opportunity to ride a wave of corruption of VP Singh and has a healthy return for the elections to the Lok Sabha in 1989.

VPSingh came to power in 1989 with foreign support of the Left Parties and BJP. He said that people with integrity to take over the ministry. The government was working well. He was working on labor reform and the election. Host of other issues, such as Lokpal currently being studied. Moreover, the Janata Dal as a political party had pledged to meet quota of 27% for OBC.

On August 7, 1990, VPSingh announced the acceptance of the Mandal Commission recommendations in Parliament. Until a month passed and gradually all the upper castes realized that his grip on power is slipping, and less than a smear campaign that begins, will be completely out of power. Therefore, not only slander, but all that was available in the dictionary is used to defame the Dalits and OBC.

Middle-class Hindus were in the streets of the OBC quota. VPSingh became one of the most hated politicians of our time. While none of the Indian journalists ever want to say something about it. Today, when we are fighting corruption, none of these leaders even bother to mention his name. Why? The BJP withdrew its support and launched its Ram temple movement. To deviate from the real issue of the empowerment of CBOs, is rewritten in its fight against Muslim propaganda cycle, so that all dissident forces in the fall, with Hindus times in your line.

The answer lies in the upper caste hatred against anything that provides the connection of power to the Dalits and the marginalized. VPSingh was the bigger person, if he was talking about corruption and all, but became the worst since I started talking about Dalits and OBC. His administration not only share but also provided OBC reservation for Buddhists and Neo Centennial celebration of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and honored with the Bharat Ratna. Similarly, Mayawati is not damaged while placating the upper castes, but has risen as the monuments of the Dalit Bahujan icons in the city of Lucknow, are angry because we feel that the natural heir of our roundabouts in the center the city are Gandhi, Nehru and our many Gods and Goddesses. The upper caste middle class feeling is that the Dalit Bahujan icons must remain in the BĂ„STIS and dalitwadas

When we talk about corruption, how can we ignore the illegal land deals in our country? How can Anna and her team feel that corruption is only in terms of money? Most corruption in India today is the sale of our natural resources, our land, forest and water. What is your position? What will make the powerful and well connected people do not buy the land just because they have money. Are we going to put a roof over land in India in spite of people's purchasing power? When civil society want to judge each judge on civil society? What is this civil society? Anna and her team made follow any principle of democracy in the formation of your team? How can democracy survive, to such blackmail tactics of Gandhi, who used to frustrate the separate electorate for Dalits'?

The issue of corruption is not light, but then those who want to fight against it must also remain clean. Yes, for people like us, not only must be clean, but also have faith in our secular and pluralistic values can not be preachers of hate. How are these multi-millionaires who have purchased their property in every state and even outside India involved in the fight against corruption? Anna and the equipment does not not know about Baba and his games, his property and money? Is it a struggle between those who say they have captured over one hundred million rupees and it is our time to do it? How can we talk about people? Democracy has to come from these individuals and work. Yes, corruption affects us all. Why not start work developing a movement from the ground that the land has been seized by local elites, who can donate large sums of money to these fellows fight against corruption. Should not we see these forces that we are projecting an alternative.

The fact that there is a crowd, does not mean you have the right to do anything. Crowd does not provide legitimacy. Many of our friends really feel that anyone who shows the crowd is great. Yes, folks Babas was not a multitude of social justice. Anna is similar crowd. The stupidity of the propaganda of the Sangh is that the incident comes as land Ramleela Jalianwallah slaughter. And see their happy faces at Rajghat. Sushma danced while Advani was comparing this incident to Jalianwallah Bagh. Never any question about the fictional land deals Ram Dev and Babas and others. If we ignore the vital corruption in terms of land in the name of stray dogs, temples, mosques and Gurudwaras, we can not fight corruption. In fact, we provide legitimacy. We can not start a movement in which they feel isolated population of India the majority, and fearful. The concern of 20% of Indian Muslims and other minorities are important and can not be ignored. It is not only corruption but also their place in India and collaboration in decision-making. How to enable Dalits, Adivasis, Muslims and cooperation of others in our movement if we allow all the reactionary forces in our decision-making. The fact that you want to delete the Congress party does not mean you can ally with anyone.

Yes, if the government and those who claim to work for us, really, then we must talk about corruption of all kinds, in all its forms, anywhere. And not to mention what is appropriate for the middle classes who began the corruption in the first place and now wants to lead the movement against it as well. We want the government release all documents in the land of temples, mutts, Gurudwaras, churches and mosques. Let people know how much money is there and is using it for what purposes. Anna Hazare and his team would make a great danger if not considered as corruption. Are they going to talk about it? Will you take the religious thugs sitting in our land and water and preaching austerity us?

The Hindutva forces are working at night on your calendar. They will use every platform to bring back power to the Brahmanical social order. After Ramdev, who want the return of Uma Bharati to counter Mayawati. While Congress brazenly sticking to the elite Brahmins in Uttar-Pradesh, the Hindutva is busy with testing and who else can do better than Shudras. It is time to understand the hazards of the struggle against corruption and those exposed tooth and nail. No one can be a major threat to India that the rise of Hindutva forces to power. Fight against corruption and expose the true source of it.
