Hazare Impact: 2 panchayats Pune APMC bribery survey again

Two villages in the district of Pune are setting a great example of how to fight corruption in action and not just shouting slogans and waving flags.

Gram panchayat members of the village in Shirur Taluka Jambut, Pune district have decided to return the money they received from a candidate to challenge thefor Market Committee of Agricultural Products (APMC) polls to cast votes in his favor.

During a meeting gram panchayat, the village head Balkrushna Kad said: "It is the first step if you fight against corruption in our level."
Other members immediately decided to return the money he received from his vows, but for the APMC election, held recently. They have decided to use the money to develop the village school.

Inspired by this movement, the gram panchayat and cooperative members of society of the near-Yemai Kavathe town also decided to collect the bribe money and use it to rebuild the temple in the village.
